40-Day Global Meditation

I hope you are all doing well -- I miss teaching and practicing Kundalini yoga with you and hope we can reunite in a Palisades class eventually!

I wanted to let you all know about the 40-day Kundalini meditation that yogis are around the world are going to start on Monday, Oct 3. It involves 3 minutes of Sitali pranayam (cooling breath) and an 11 minute chanting meditation...but you can do it for less time if that seems daunting.

It might be a great kickstart to get you meditating every day -- maybe for 5 minutes? They will even send you email reminders if you want!

Final Kundalini Class and Potluck

Tonight is our final Kundalini yoga class! If you like, bring food/drink to share for a little post-class
socializing. Please feel free to stick around even if you don't have time to bring something to share -- I will bring some refreshing cold yogi tea for all.

Tonight's set will focus on the kidneys, our most important organs for the elimination of toxins from the blood.
After the set, we will practice a powerful purifying meditation and then enjoy a deep relaxation.

If time, we will practice an additional meditation to help the mind approach memory in a balanced way, allowing us to learn from the past while moving forward with forgiveness and openness.

This is the last class of the six-week session. If you are not already signed up, drop in for $15/class.

As many of you know, this week is my last class for awhile. I was hoping to pass the class on to another Kundalini teacher as soon as next week, but no definite arrangements have yet been made. However, some may still be in the works -- so check back or email me for details. I will also update the blog periodically about other workshops and classes I will be teaching in the future.

Thanks for the opportunity to share this yoga with so many of you. Sat Nam!

Please email me if you have questions: shoshana.rosenbaum@gmail.com

Build Intuition and Self-Love with Kundalini Yoga

In Kundalini yoga, the pituitary gland is associated with the "third eye", the seat of our intuition, which allows us to know things not consciously recognized by the mind. Tonight's set will be a series of postures linked with deep breathing to build pituitary, and therefore intuitive, functioning.

After a deep relaxation, we will practice a meditation conquer self-animosity, allowing us to get out of our own ways and experience the consciousness of our true selves.

This is the fifth class of the six-week session. If you are not already signed up, drop in for $15/class.

The session will run April 5 through May 10.

As many of you know, next week is my last class for awhile. I am actively seeking another Kundalini teacher to take over the class to keep it at the same time and space, and I will let you know as soon as
definite arrangements are made! I am also compiling a list of other area Kundalini classes to share with you soon.
